How bout that Weather?

What we have been waiting for since late October when the weather changed from mild autumn breezes to frigid freezing winter winds. The warm weather is finally here. Unfortunately, these springlike temperatures seem to have an adverse effect on grades. Something about a forecast of seventy degrees diminishes all desires to do any sort of studying or homework. I wonder why. The warm temps seem to put everyone in a good mood; not even the biggest workaholic I know doesn’t want to be inside writing a paper. Also, the nice weather is reminiscent of summer. Summer, which means sandals and sun tan lotion, but not pencils and papers. Finally, it’s quite difficult to concentrate when everyone has there windows open playing summery tunes and there’s people all over the quad throwing a Frisbee, having a catch, or catching some rays. Why would you want to concentrate on school work when you could be doing any of those things. So try and have fun enjoying the nice weather while persuading yourself to do that pile of work that’s  waiting for you.
